“I was at the Frankfurt Trade Fair, presenting my new collection developed using LED circuits. I saw a Japanese lady pointing at my lamps and repeatedly saying “wa wa”. I went towards her and when I curiously asked her the reason, she told me “wa” meant “perfect”. I was touched and thanked her; I looked at the lamp, which was still nameless, and decided to call it “Wa Wa”. With the Wa Wa F, Enzo Catellani created a very special lighting object for Catellani & Smith. The entirely handcrafted Wa Wa F convinced us with its purist design. The design of this lamp was reduced to the essentials. All the more surprising is the effect of the delicate Wa Wa F that projects a beautiful play of light onto the wall. The illumination of the Wa Wa F looks best against a large wall.The body of the Wa Wa Lamp is made up of 5 arms where the glass lenses are installed, which throw light circles onto the wall. The arms of the lamp are flexible, this way you can created new patterns and adjust the illumination to your personal taste over and over again.
