A polygon is a two dimensional shape with straight sides. Join a number of polygons together into a three-dimensional shape, closing all sides, and you create a polyhedron. As long ago as 1950, Carlo Scarpa at Venini was experimenting with chandeliers made out of polygons, and the polyhedral chandelier was born. You can sometimes find a rare original but it will probably be suffering from some wear and tear.
We are delighted to offer you today's updated version of this iconic 1950s chandelier. You will benefit from precise shapes and brand new metal fittings, as well as a choice of size and colour.
As we commission all the lights and chandeliers in this section ourselves, your new chandelier can be made in any size you like, and you can also request a special colour. We would love to see this one in smoked glass, for example, for a modern home, to find in with the current mid-century trend.
You will can also see here a photo of one of these fantastic chandeliers installed by us recently in an upmarket designer store.
